Business Plan Preparation Fees
Business plan preparation fees vary based on the amount and complexity of the work to be done. The minimum fee is $5,000.00 and can range upwards to $15,000.00. After the scope of a project has been agreed to by both the entrepreneur and ourselves, we determine a firm fee commitment. We require 50% of the fee at the beginning, 25% when the draft of the business plan is completed, and the remaining 25% when the final business plan has been accepted. Business plans usually can be completed in 30 to 60 days.

If you would like to get an estimate of what the fee would be to prepare your business plan, here's a worksheet we use as a guideline. Please keep in mind this is an estimate and the fee we determine can be different than the fee you calculate. The total number of points determines the fee. Use our Business Plan Preparation Fee Estimator to use this worksheet to calculate an estimate for how much it would cost to prepare a business plan for you. Based on your selections, it will calculate a total number of points for you. Then, use the Fee Estimation Range table below to determine what your estimate is.
